Cacao Coast Classroom

Welcome to the Cacao Coast Classroom community! We’re so happy to have your family join our

learning community. This is a shared learning space where we each play a role in creating a

meaningful experience. To help everyone feel at ease and connected, we’ve put together a few

shared expectations that make our time together safe, joyful, and meaningful. These

expectations are not legal terms — they’re the commitments we hold to one another.

1. Respect & Inclusion

Treat everyone with kindness, patience, and respect.

Value diverse perspectives and listen with curiosity.

Speak and act in ways that uplift the group.

2. Community Values

Participation — try new things, get involved, share your voice

Connection — with nature, culture, and community

Joy — because learning should feel like an adventure!

3. Engagement

Arrive on time and stay present during activities.

Share your thoughts, but also leave space for others.

If you need a break, let us know.

4. Care for Space & Environment

Treat facilities, materials, and natural surroundings with care.

Be mindful of waste and resources.

Leave every space better than you found it.

5. Health & Safety

Follow all facilitator guidance to ensure group safety.

Respect your own limits and those of others.

We create a safe, nurturing environment while recognizing families must plan for their own

healthcare.

Let us know about allergies, medical needs, or other considerations in advance.

7. Co-Creation

This program is co-created. By showing up with openness, respect, and curiosity, you help make

Cacao Coast Classroom a transformative place for everyone.

8. Devices-Free Zone

We ask that no digital devices be brought to the Hub except as approved by staff. Screen-free

time creates space for creativity, play, and genuine connection.

9. Photography

We often take photos/videos to capture the magic of our days and share about Cacao Coast

Classroom. Photography helps us share our story with future families while respecting everyone’s

comfort and privacy.If you’d prefer your child not be in close-up shots, let us know — we’ll respect

your choice.

Shared Expectations aren’t rules to sign, they’re a community agreement to help us create

something special together.
